The PMI Kentucky Bluegrass Chapter Volunteer Program allows its members to help the chapter pursue its vision to add value to the members, the PMI organization, and the community at large. It does so by relieving the Chapter Board Members of operational duties in order to focus on strategic efforts. Additionally, Chapter Members are able to participate in the operation of the chapter while earning PDUs. Finally, a strong volunteer program will provide opportunities for the chapter to reach out into the community.
As a volunteer, you are greatly valued by the chapter and your efforts are sincerely appreciated. Before volunteering, please review and understand the PMI Code of Ethics as well as the Code of Professional Conduct (if you are PMP certified). Being a volunteer requires a certain amount of commitment. Once you sign up for an opportunity, you agree to act in the best interests of the Chapter and complete tasks as requested, or seek additional help to complete those tasks.
To volunteer, review the list of active opportunities below. When an opportunity of interest is found, click on the Contact email ID associated with that opportunity and send a note of inquiry to the Board Member responsible for that opportunity. That Board Member will contact you within a reasonable amount of time to determine with you whether or not there is a fit and get you signed up.
For general questions about the volunteer program, contact our Chapter President.
